♬ 비제오페라 [ 카르멘 ] 中 "하바네라" 하바네라 habanera, 스페인어 발음은 '아바네라' '하바나의 춤'이란 뜻의 danza habanera가 줄어든 말. 하바나는 쿠바의 수도 이름. 이 음악은 19세기초에 쿠바에서 발생한 춤곡이며, 특징적인 2/4의 리듬이 여유 있는 템포로 연속적으로 반복된다 하바네라는 19세기에 라틴 아메리카와 유럽에서 크게 유행했는데, 특히 비제의 오페라 <카르멘>(1875)에 채택됨으로써 더욱 널리 알려지게 되었다. 그 근원은 영국의 컨트리 댄스가 스페인에 전해진 후 다시 쿠바로 넘어가 흑인들의 감각이 가미되면서 완성된 것이다. 보통 템포에 의한 4분의 2박자의곡으로 2종의 리듬형이 특징을 이루고 있다. 19세기 중엽 에스파냐의 작곡가 세바스티안 이라디에르가 쿠바 체류 중에 작곡한 <엘 아레글리토>와 <라 팔로마>에 의해 일약 유명해졌다. 비제(Bizet)의 오페라 <카르멘>과 라벨의 관현악곡 <스페인광시곡> 등에도 이 형식을 도입한 걸작들이 있다. 하바네라는 현재는 그다지 연주되지 않는 편이나 아르헨티나 탱고 등의 무곡의 모체를 이루고 있다.. ********************************************** CARMEN(french) L'amour est un oiseau rebelle, que nul ne peut apprivoiser, et c'est bien en vain qu'on l'appelle s'il lui convient de refuser.
